Catapults and Simple Machines

  2. Try to name at least one example of each simple machine.  Now focus on levers.  A catapult is just a simple lever.
  3. Build your own catapult and try it out!

In addition to his many talents, Leonard da Vinci was a highly skilled sculptor, although this is a lesser known fact about him. Check out one of his only know remaining sculptures in this article featured in Smithsonian Magazine.
