Family Camp Out
REGISTRATION CLOSED
Want to test out camping with the kids? Try camping at the Library! Camping activities, grill-out, s’mores station, outdoor movie, and if you’re up for it, spending the night in a tent! Tents available for rent for those who do not have one (limited availability.) Registration and a signed liability waiver is required for this event. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver.
Schedule
- 3pm Show up any time after 3pm to set up your tent and get settled
- 4pm Hang out at your tent or join us for activities
- 5:30 Hot dog dinner under the shelter
- 6pm S’more station under the shelter
- 6:30 Hang out at your tent or join us for activities
- 8pm Outdoor movie and popcorn
- 9:30pm Bedtime
- Saturday 7 to 8am Simple breakfast and pack up
What should I bring?
- tent
- sleeping bag and/or blanket
- pillow
- favorite stuffed animal
- flashlight
- camp chairs
- water bottle
- active clothing with layers
- pajamas
- sunglasses
- bug spray
- toothbrush
