- Creativebug: this online service provides video tutorials that walk you step-by-step through a multitude of different crafts and hobbies. All you need to do is create an account with your library card number to get started. Once you create the account, simply type cross stitch into the search box and pick from a number of different video tutorials!

Weaving Techniques:

- Creativebug: The weaving for beginners class not only teaches you weaving basics, but it also shows you how to create your own loom with a wooden frame!
DIY Looms: These DIY Looms are a great alternative to the expensive looms you can find online. The greatest part is that they can be made from supplies you already have around your house! Use an old frame or cardboard.
