Grimes Food Truck Fest

Join us for the First Annual Grimes Food Truck Fest! June 3rd from 4:30-7:30 PM in Waterworks Park outside Grimes Public Library. Dollar drive and door prizes available. All donations go to to the Grimes Public Library “Building our Next Chapter” Campaign.

STEM Storytime

Stories and science experiments for Pre-K through 2nd grade outside the Library, Tuesdays at 10am.

Teen Tuesdays

Grab and Go crafts for teens to decorate your room, window, or home with in-person events on June 22 and July 20 at 1pm. In the event of bad weather, in-person crafts will be changed to a Grab & Go kit.

Adult Book Club

Book club for ages 18+ the first Tuesday of every month at 5:30pm outside the Library. Multiple copies available at the Library.

STEM Bookclub

STEM book club for middle grade readers with weekly online discussion questions and in person meetups on June 30th and July 14th at 1pm. Multiple copies available at the Library.

Story Grooves

Pre-K storytime with movement outside the Library, Wednesdays at 6:30pm.

Storytime in the Park

Pre-K storytime with crafts to go outside the Library, Thursdays at 10am.

Colorful Crafts

Grab and Go crafts for kids available on Fridays with in-person events on June 18th & July 2nd at 1pm. In the event of bad weather, in-person crafts will be changed to a Grab & Go kit.

Color Your Week

Each week of Summer Reading centers on a color. Get ready for the coming week with color-based family activities posted Saturdays on Facebook, grimeslibrary.org, and in the Library.

Growing the Good Life

Join us monthly on Saturdays at 10am to explore a variety of topics for the home gardener. With hands on activities and take home goodies.
