Early Out Adventures 1:30pm

School age kids are invited to come to the library after school on early dismissal days for fun activities. "Bug Me" with Polk County Conservation - Polk County Conservation will be providing a 45 minute program on bugs, complete with a live specimen and insect safari! Explore the fascinating world of insects and their bizarre ways of life. For school-aged kids. No registration.

American Girl® Debut

Bring your own special doll to meet the newest additions to the Grimes Public Library! American Girls® Kit, Samantha, and Josefina will be available for checkout starting September 19th. Come to their inaugural party to learn about the girls, make your own jewelry, and even take home your own doll outfit! Ages 6+. Please register.
