Governor's Days in Grimes! Activities begin at 2pm on Thursday and continue through Saturday evening! The Grimes Library will be open normal hours on Thursday, 9am - 9pm, and Friday, 9am - 6pm, and after the Governor's Days Parade on Saturday.

Polk County Conservation will be at the library to show you how rocks are formed. Afterwards, Janet and Kelly will help make buttons!. No registration necessary.

Iowa State University Conservation Station will have their mobile learning station here at the Grimes Library! There will be a presentation and demonstration at 10am, followed by hands-on activities until 2pm. Stop by and learn about soil and water quality and how to preserve and protect Iowa's natural resources! No registration necessary.
