ACT Boot Camp
Oct 7 @ 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm | ACT Boot Camp

Saturday, Oct. 7th @1-4pm

This 3-hour boot camp is instructed by Sylvan Learning Center. Students, grades 10th-12th will review the English, Math, Science and Writing portions of the ACT test. Each Student will receive a workbook.

Seats are limited so Registration is required as well as a $20 class fee, due before the day of the program. Max of 20 students.

Hook Nook - Crochet for Beginners
Oct 10 @ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm | Hook Nook – Crochet for Beginners

Hook Nook is a series of 5 classes that build on one another. All skill levels are welcome and participants are encouraged to self pace. Each month, Kylie will teach a new crochet stitch. The last class will “put it all together” in a one of a kind final project you can take home and enjoy!

Looking for volunteer hours? On the second Thursday of each month, teens are invited to help plan and prepare for upcoming library events while earning hours towards getting their Silver Cord.

Oct 14 @ 8:00 am – 9:00 am | Special Access Browsing

Grimes Public Library will be opening at 8am on the second Saturday of each month to offer an hour of quiet(er) browsing. Anyone with a special need as well as parents and/or caregivers is welcome to attend.  The Library will open to the general public at 9am.

Mad Science Laboratory

Join us on Monday, October 23 @2-3pm as we conduct some crazy and edible science experiments in our Mad Science Laboratory.

Character Clue
