Teens who earned their Teen Party Ticket are invited to attend an after hours party in the library.  There will be snacks, games, and a raffle drawing where you could win a drone! (UDI U818A quadcopter)

Yoga for You
Aug 9 @ 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm | Yoga for You

Bring a towel or a yoga mat and join us for a free monthly yoga class provided by a Certified Yoga Instructor from Studio B Yoga. Classes are adjusted to match the level of participants. Ages 16+.

Expect to learn breathing techniques along with different postures to improve balance and flexibility. Instructors will lead with verbal cues as well as with hands on instruction.

Red Cross Babysitting Course

Ages 11-15

$35 fee for class materials required

9am- 4:30pm (please bring a sack lunch)


This class is FULL. Check back for future babysitting classes.


This course gives youth ages 11 to 15 years old the knowledge and confidence to care for infants and school-age children. Combining video, activities, hands-on skills training and discussion for a complete learning experience, Babysitter’s Training teaches youth how to:

*Respond to emergencies and illness with first aid, rescue breathing, and other appropriate care
*Make decisions under pressure
*Communicate with parents and learn household rules
*Recognize safety and hygiene issues
*Manage young children
*Feed, diaper, and care for infants
* Start their babysitting business
Please bring a sack lunch.
Fee:  $35 must be paid to hold your spot


Volunteer Hour

Looking for volunteer hours? On the second Thursday of each month, teens are invited to help plan and prepare for upcoming library events while earning hours towards getting their Silver Cord.

Register for a 15 minute time slot with Cynthia Letsch from Letsch Law Firm. Get advice on whether you have a legal issue that is worth pursuing and assistance finding a lawyer who can help you. Offered the third Monday of each month.
